Uniform

Our school uniform is as follows, this may be with or without the school logo. Our logo is available through Tesco Uniform (myclothing.com). For health and safety reasons please can children who have long hair have it tied back/up. Please can hair accessories be minimal and where possible in school colours.

Clothing

Plain grey or black school skirt or trousers.
Red and white checked dress or plain grey or black knee length tailored shorts in summer.
White school blouse or polo shirt.
Berry red cardigan or sweatshirt.
White, black, red or grey socks/tights.
Headbands, slides & bobbles in school colours (red/white/grey/black)

Shoes

Plain black shoes and or plain black trainers (canvas shoes). No flashing lights please. If children come to school in boots or wellingtons, they will need to bring their black shoes to change in to.

Good quality pre-loved uniform is available from the following uniform exchange initiatives:

P.E Kit

P.E. Kit

Plain navy or black shorts.
Plain t shirt in your child’s team colour (red, green, yellow or blue).
Trainers for outdoor P.E. (any colour).
Hair must be tied back for P.E.
Ear-rings must be removed (or taped during the healing period) for P.E. and removed for swimming. If children cannot take their ear-rings out themselves, they should not wear them on P.E. days.

P.E Kit (Colder Weather)

Plain (no logos) sweatshirt or jacket with NO HOOD and jogging bottoms/leggings. These can be in plain black, navy or grey.

The Grove Lea Fleece in red or black can also be worn instead of the plain jacket or sweatshirt.

We hope that all children will wear their Grove Lea School Uniform with pride.

Jewellery

Jewellery is not allowed other than watches and one pair of small gold or silver stud ear-rings. Please can children not wear ear rings on school P.E days.

Years 1-6 Open Futures - ‘Grow It’

A pair of wellingtons brought to school on their Open Futures day (please see your child’s class timetable)

Children will be in the garden in all weathers. We will provide additional waterproof clothing when necessary.
